Mugen Seiki have introduced two new 1/8 scale truggy kits: the MBX8T Nitro and the MBX8TE Electric truck. Both are based on the successful MBX8 buggy platform (produced by the Japanese brand) with the trucks featuring a new 3mm aluminum chassis for improved steering and consistency in bumpy conditions.
HTD (High Traction Differentials) are included in these kits and ensure increased acceleration, longer runtime, and more consistent handling. The larger oil volume ensures great consistency in long mains and improved traction in lower grip conditions. increase acceleration, runtime, and efficiency. A free and efficient drivetrain will also increase speeds while cornering. The new gearbox allows you to remove and service the differentials without detaching the suspension arm mounts.
The front and rear lower arms of the truggy use a new impact resistant material for increased durability. The new arms are box-shaped and include arm stiffeners to reduce flex and increase durability (now is possible to adjust the hardness of the lower suspension arms).
These new trucks are decked out with Pro-Line body and they also include clamping servo saver nuts, updated front and rear shock towers as well as universal-type center driveshafts. The new IFMAR legal wing is lightweight and provides amazing down force . The underside uses a new design to reduced weight and creates additional down-force.
