BMT, historic Italian modeling brand (winner of three On-Road World Championships in 1989, 1991 and 1993 with Lamberto Collari and of a team world championship in 1990), is teasing a new 1/10 scale touring car. After several months of work, the designers have unveiled the first CAD images showing this new nitro racing model.
After the success of BMT 016, the Italian RC brand has introduced their new 016 GT Evo 1/8th Scale Nitro GT. The model is supplied in kit form, disassembled. To complete the kit you will need 2-channel radio control, engine and the electronics.
The chassis has a ultra-low center of gravity (-5mm compared to the previous car), one of the lowest in the category due to the shape of the tank and the disposal of the servos who are both lying down, where it was specially designed for this unique support that incorporates all the electronics that with only 3 screws out of the model is to facilitate maintenance operations.
The Italian company BMT has introduced the new 801 series of 1/8 scale nitro and brushless RTR models. The 801GT is an or-road competition model designed for both bashers and novice racers. It’s supplied already pre-assembled complete with the new pull start Hyper 30 Turbo engine, a 3-channel (2.4GHz Spektrum technology) radio remote control, 14Kg servos provided by Savox and a panted lexan body in white/blue racing livery.
The chassis of the 801GT is in ergal 7075 of new generation, with Hard anodization with front and rear reinforcements. All the transmission of the model are cardan, at the front CVA , the crowns and pinions of the differentials are made by steel, and the whole turns on ball bearings.
The shock absorbers are hydraulic (with oil), they are of the new Big Bore 17mm type and are completely in aluminum with a 4.0mm steel stem and adjustable by means of a ring nut to vary the spring hardness.
