Tamiya announced the re-release of the Avante 2011 Black Special 4WD 10th Scale Buggy. This model, for collectors and vintage racers, was released back in 2011.
The Avante buggy will arrive in hobby shops in December in kit version with a number of option parts such as racing steering and ball differential torque splitter set.
Tamiya is going to bring back to hobby stores the classic 1/10th scale buggies: Super Astute 2WD and Avante Black Special 4WD. The original Super Astute, released for the first time in 1991, is one of Tamiya’s most sought-after vintage buggies by collectors around the World.
No official information is available for now but I’m sure the Astute will be upgraded to give it a little bit more performance compared to the original model released in the early 90s.
