Introduction of new RC Rêve D Drift brand

Minoru Aso and Tomonari Nakamura (ex Yokomo sales manager and engineering manager) have announced the formation of the new drift Rêve D brand. The company is based in Japan and the drivers team includes Hayato Matsuzaki (IFMAR 2WD World Champion) and Takahiro Kawakami( Drift World Cup Champion). The final goal of the Rêve D brand is to produce drift car conversion kit, full chassis, electronics and RC accessories.

The first Rêve D Drift products will arrive in 2020. We wish them all the best for this new brand and we look forward to see what they will produce.

Max Speed Technology MS-01D RTR Drift Chassis – Reissued!

Max Speed Technology (MST) has announced the re-release of their drift chassis MS-01D. The model will be sold Ready to Run with two shells JZ3 and EG6, available in different colors: red, blue, black and white. The chassis uses a front center motor GT configuration with 4WD double belts transmission, fluid-filled shock absorbers, front and rear independent multi-link double A-arm suspension, front differential and rear shaft drive system.

IFMAR: 1/10th DRIFT World Championship 2020

Next year, the 2020 RC Drift World Championship will be held in Japan, dedicated to 1/10 scale electric model cars organized by Masami Hirosaka. The event, which will take place under the hat of the IFMAR, will take place between 15 and 19 April at the legendary Yatabe Arena (in Tsukuba, near Tokyo).

Yokomo RPX-II Drift Spec Speed Controller

Yokomo has shown the new RPX-II speed controller specially develop for the Drift Racer. This 160 Ampere ESC uses high quality FETs with super low internal resistance that helps suppress heat generation. It features a factory programmed firmware to give you the best performance on low-grip surfaces and a 6V/7.4V BEC.

The RPX-II Drift Spec can be WiFi programmed via smartphones with the BL-WM module or with the programming box.

Yokomo YD-2SXII Drift Limited Edition 500 Units

Yokomo announced a limited edition of their high-end drift chassis YD-2SXII. The model will be available in January produced in 500 units. The new YD-2SXII has many upgrade parts like a curved aluminum steering slide rack and rear shock tower, short rear suspension arm and the latest front and rear hub carrier from Yokomo.

Since the red aluminum version will be limited production, Yokomo will not sell the red version parts separately.
