Losi Racing Team (distributed by Horizon Hobby) has released the first teaser of the new 1/8 scale nitro Buggy. TLR has a long history of winning competitions around the world and this new nitro buggy will certainly keep elevanting the benchmark.
Losi released the Hammer Rey U4: a SMART, Ready-to-Run Rock Racer with AVC. This truck is officially licensed and based off Casey Currie’s U4 Racer with a Spektrum 3150Kv brushless motor and managed by the Smart 130A ESC, 6-channel DSMR AVC/telemetry receiver, and the new DX3 transmitter that provides Spektrum Smart feedback including live battery voltage.
Along with the officially licensed design, the Hammer Rey includes KMC wheels, Nitto tires, and additional details such as new shock reservoirs, fire extinguishers, and new light bars.
New over at Horizon Hobby is the the Losi Ford Raptor Baja Rey 2022 Mint 400 Limited Edition: the perfect way for off-road enthusiasts to own a piece of Losi and Mint 400 history. This RC model comes equipped with a Spektrum Firma 3800Kv brushless power system, as well as a solid rear axle, independent front suspension, and appropriate suspension geometry, so you can tear across all types of desert off-road terrain.
The Mint 400 is the oldest and most prestigious off-road race in USA and is held each March in the treacherous foothills of Sin City. The multi-day event features a massive vehicle parade down the world famous Las Vegas Strip, a two day festival on historic Fremont Street, and two days of grueling off-road racing on a desolate and punishing 400-mile racecourse.
Last year Horizon Hobby partnered with Front Row Motorsports for the 2021 NASCAR season and loved it so much that they are joining all three FRM entries for the 2022 season that include the NASCAR and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series!
Anyone who has been following us in the last few years knows that we love Christmas. So whats better than a festive video from Horizon Hobby full of RC cars and Christmas decorations near a Crackling Fire?
Below you can find the video of the “Christmas Fireplace” by Horizon Hobby!
If you live in the USA don’t forget thatHorizon Hobby RC Fest 2021 is right around: on September 10 and 11 at Eli Field (Monticello, Illinois) will be held the biggest hands-on, fun-focused RC event of the year. This two day event will feature an RC airshow, RC product demonstrations, giveaways and more!
Over at Axial Racing they have just dropped a 1/10 scale, super detailed, replica of Ford Bronco: the first sport-utility vehicle from the Ford Motor Company. In 1965, race car builder Bill Stoppe assembled a team of first-generation Broncos for long-distance off-road competition. They competed in the Mint 400, Baja 500, and the Mexican 1000 (later renamed Baja 1000) and the Bronco became an icon of off-road history.
This is one of the most detailed models Axial has ever produced. It includes the key components that have made the SCX10 III chassis so popular, and adds features never before found in a Ready To Run scaler.
If you are a basher looking for something big, really big, Losi released the new version of the 1/6 scale Super Rock Rey. This ready-to-run takes its inspiration from full-scale rigs that tackle the King of Hammers and similar places others won’t dare go. Realistic solid axle performance joins 8S brushless power that pushes the needle to over 60 Km/h while the stability of AVC technology lets you hold nothing back through corners and jumps.
The large tires and new front end geometry increase suspension travel and improve performance over any terrain. Super Rock Rey loves rocky off-road tracks, and the rougher, the better! It also rips through sand, mud, water, and most any other surface condition.
