Horizon Hobby has presented the new nitro buggy 8IGHT-X ELITE. The buggy builds on the championship-winning heritage of its predecessors with updates to the suspension geometry and drivetrain as well as the chassis layout that make it both easier to drive and tougher to beat. This version of the popular 8IGHT-X is what avid racers and team members are looking for in a winning buggy.
It includes all of the desired factory team option parts and many updates in a one-box purchase. The drivetrain as well as the chassis layout have been completely redesigned making it easier to drive on the track and work on in the pit. Additionally, the new ELITE chassis increases stability and is designed to work for all drivers and be more accepted worldwide. Team Losi Racing continues to push the envelope of performance with the 8IGHT-X ELITE buggy.

Coming soon from Horizon Hobby is the TLR 22 5.0 DC Elite Race 2WD Buggy Kit. Team Losi Racing is continually improving upon its 22 platform in order to give drivers every advantage in race meets. This new 22 “Elite Race” will include all optional parts that TLR Factory Race Team uses around the world, and you will get a PRO level buggy right out of the box.
Enhanced for competition on clay and dirt tracks, the 22 5.0 DC Elite features a big number of adjustable optional parts, so you can tweak and customize your buggy to suit your driving.
The Elite version features fully adjustable rear pivots, adjustable height rear hubs, carbon fiber option parts throughout, and all the aluminum parts have been changed to a sharp black with silver edges to pop against the hard anodized chassis and shock absorbers.
The TLR driver Dakotah Phend has announced that he has signed with OS Engines for the 2019 racing buggy season.
