At the end of December, Tamiya will start distribution of the Toyota GAZOO Racing TS050 Hybrid. The model is based on the F103GT chassis and features High-Efficiency Direct Drive 2WD with the motor mounted on the rear, motor pinion directly driving the spur gear and a ball differential.

The chassis is made by FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic) 2.5mm thick with 1.5 mm upper deck, and uses an independent front suspension with caster angle set at 3 degrees and a rigid rear suspension with T-Bar and coil spring.

The body is made of polycarbonate, a low sharp aerodynamic form fully covered front and rear tires and cockpit. It is a finished with a high sense of scale with front nose, head light case, 2 canards, rear wing, shark fin and so on as separate parts.
