Last weekend, at the International Offroad Carpet Championship in Las Vegas, Team Losi Racing showed the new racing buggy TLR 22 5.0. The model is based on the 22B platform, with modifications that make it more versatile in Carpet, Dirt-Clay and Spec competitions.
The new camber block now has three positions and uses machined aluminum insert. The original inside hole plus and outside hole are now in a middle position.
To improve weight distribution, the battery tray is adjustable in five points, with a system of elastic bands to securely fix different sized packs.
The suspension uses a 12mm G3 Shocks with new shafts, pistons and springs. The “Super Heavy Duty Slipper” clutch mounts a larger shaft and smaller slipper plates that fit the new spur gears (69, 72, 75, 78 and 81T).
Other announcements include a 68mm drive shaft, new differential gears, steering geometry and front sway-bar.
