For fans of vintage model cars, Tamiya announced the Re-Release of the Super Astute 2WD Off-Road 1/10th Scale Buggy. The original kit was released back in 1991 and the basic construction and design of the model remains true to the original (with various minor upgrades).

The FRP chassis uses 4-wheel double wishbone suspension, CVA oil dampers and a sealed gearbox features TTC, which was Tamiya’s first slipper clutch, protects gears from impacts and gives stable drive by limiting wheelspin.

Externally the same as the original, it features a modernized internal design, and can be adjusted simply by removing the gearbox cover and turning the lock nut.

To complete the model you have to buy the motor, ESC, low profile servo, receiver and the battery separately.
