Horizon Hobby – The Mint 400 announced that LOSI is the Official RC Truck of The Mint 400. Last year Losi became the first RC group to attempt to navigate one entire 125-mile lap of the world-famous Mint 400 racecourse. For the Losi 5IVE-T 2.0, it was the ultimate endurance test to prove it worthy of the Official RC Truck of The Mint 400. In the end, the truck completed a lap at the world’s most brutal off-road race.
To celebrate the achievement, The Mint 400 and Losi have created a limited edition Ford Raptor Baja Rey 1/10th scale Truck. The Baja Rey is race inspired and built for RC speed, power and performance, with over the top details.
LOSI’s family of remote controlled vehicles will be on display at this year’s Mint 400 Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street on Thursday, March 5th and Friday, March 6th. Additionally, LOSI will have an onsite demo area at the Official Mint 400 Start/Finish Line Midway, where race fans can bring their own RC cars or browse the selection of Losi, Axial, and ARRMA vehicles at their booth.
“LOSI brings the thrill of off-road racing, flying, or boating to your backyard at a smaller scale, and we’re thrilled to welcome them back to this year’s Mint 400,” said Mint 400 CEO, Matt Martelli. “RC trucks are a great way to bring the fun of our Baja Trucks and buggies home, and Horizon Hobby brands like Losi are up to the task no matter what you put them through. Fresh off of a lap around our race course, we’re excited to see their latest products on display at this year’s Off-Road Festival!”
With performance at the heart of everything we do, Losi is committed to designing, engineering and building the most innovative, advanced and capable radio control vehicles for enthusiasts across the globe. They don’t just make great performing vehicles; they make vehicles that are manufactured using the highest quality materials and workmanship so that every time you drive, touch or see a Losi vehicle, you immediately know why Losi is the best brand in the business.
This year’s race will take place from March 3-8 in Las Vegas. More information on the event for racers and spectators is available at TheMint400.com
